Daniela Leyva practices Civil Litigation focusing on Personal Injury and First-Party Property where she represents homeowners and injured parties in disputes with insurance companies. Ms. Leyva has successfully litigated numerous claims against insurance companies. Prior to founding Leyva Law, P.A., Ms. Leyva also practiced in the areas of Family Law, Immigration, Consumer Protection, Landlord Tenant, and Home & Condo Associations. Ms. Leyva understands what her clients are going through is difficult and stressful. She dedicates time to each client, carefully listening to their needs in an effort to give them the results they seek.
Ms. Leyva received her undergraduate degree in Communications with a focus on Public Relations from Florida International University in 2012. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she worked over 5 years at a prestigious Personal Injury Firm in Miami. Seeing how she could help clients as an assistant she wanted to do more and decided to pursue a law degree. While in law school, Ms. Leyva clerked for the Honorable Jose Rodriguez and the Honorable John Thornton of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court. She also interned for The City Attorney of Coral Gables where she dealt with and observed issues regarding land use, administrative polices, and ordinances. In 2017 she earned her Juris Doctor Degree from St. Thomas University School of Law.
Ms. Leyva is of Cuban Descent and was born and raised in Miami. Outside the office, Ms. Leyva likes to spend time with her husband, friends, and family which includes her Rottweiler fur-baby. Ms. Leyva is bilingual, enjoys training in mixed martial arts, taking on DIY projects, and traveling.
